Next week ESPN2 is offering us two live UEFA Champions League matches. The February 24 fixture is a particularly tasty meeting between Inter Milan and Manchester United (I'm drooling just thinking about it). University Hero has welcomed us to watch the match live on their flat screen television and grab a sandwich for lunch. And they have generously offered us a special coupon and prizes for each match.
Just print this coupon and grab a tasty sandwich. My favorite sandwiches are the Rueben and the Hot Pastrami.

The contest! All you have to do is have the best prediction for either the halftime score or the final score and be at University Hero at halftime or the end of the match. Go to the Corvallis Soccer Community Network to learn how to enter and win the prizes provided by University Hero.

Teams, Dates and Times:
Tuesday, February 24, 11:45 AM (ESPN2)
FC Internazionale Milano vs. Manchester United
FCStadio Giuseppe Meazza Milan, Italy

Wednesday, February 25, 11:45 AM (ESPN2)
Chelsea FC vs. Juventus FC

Stamford Bridge London, England

Sure I could go home for lunch and watch the match. But that's not as much fun. I enjoy watching matches with people that are passionate about soccer. That even includes you Manchester United supporters (barf). So I hope I'll see you there. You can expect a steady stream of pro-Jose Mourinho comments during the Inter-United game.

C'mon how can you not like the Special One?

Inter 2-1 is also my prediction. ManU is always better on paper, though their defense is pretty good this time around.

And irrationally, I love Chelsea, so 2-0 Chelsea.

Comment left here and not on Ning because I don't want to make another account.

I also resist creating yet another web account. But I would love to see you join us at the Corvallis Soccer Community Network.

What would it take to get you to join? Your feedback and suggestions about http://corvallissoccer.ning.com are very welcome.

Inter wins 2-0. Man U are not use to big forwords with such skill as Zlatan and Ardriano have. They are a duo in another class then any due in the EPL. Both big fast and powerful. And plus they dont call jose the special one for nothing (even tho if it is his own name for himself.)

I'm going to guess I'll be the only Man U fan there tomorrow. Fantastic - all the more loudly i will have to crow when we win. Never fear, I think I enjoy heckling them as much as I like watching them win. That said:I predict 2-1, Man U wins it.Wouldn't it be more fun to predict who'll get yellow or red carded?
I'm also a huge Jose fan - I will be sure to bring along an arsenal of Special one special quotes for the occasion.
Be Champions!

A ManU supporter in the house to watch the game with! My Tuesday is made and its only Monday!

First booking? Too easy. Wayne Rooney, 12th minute.

How about who plays center back for United? Vidic is suspended and little boy Evans is hurt. Even the midget Neville would be an attractive option if he was available.

Giggs as makeshift center back! SOOO DOOOMED.

so close on Rooney's booking if we're talking about 12 minutes in to when he started playing.
ah, wazza. nice try.

good match, despite the result. can't wait for the old trafford leg!

OK!

Here is my observation of the GAME, Maurinho sucks! Putting Adriano one dimensional player next to a (I can do it all by my self) Ibrahimovic, all thru the game, complaining, made many wrong passes.

Too many lame Brazilians, (except Julio Cesar) he saves the game for Inter.

Glad that MU (no insult to YOU the fan) didn’t take home any goal.

Many praises for the Argentina player hard working, would love to see Figo (even for 10 minutes) can teach thing or to too the ones I mention.

Tomorrow, I will love to see Liverpool beat the (?) at R. Madrid.

We had a fun group of 10 or so at University Hero for the Inter Milan v Man United showdown. The Chelsea v Juve match wasnt as popular.

The scoreless draw meant no prize winners for the first goal and final score predictions. We'll have some creative ways to give those prizes away at the next leg on March 10 & 11. University Hero will host us again then.
